Download PDF: [S] The Angels of the Arsh
It is said that the most supreme of Angels are the Angels who carry the Arsh. Each one of them has four wings. They use two wings to cover their faces. It is also mentioned that these Angels do not look at the Arsh or else their hearts would burst with the fear of Allah azza wajal.
It is also mentioned that the Angels in this station have more fear than the Angels in the seventh heavens and this continues until the next heaven and the next heaven. It is also mentioned that at every moment, there are nearly forty thousand angels around the Arsh that continue to make the Tawaaf of the Arsh. (Tafseer Saawi, 4/4)
They also continue to make Du’a for the Ummah of the Sayyiduna Rasoolullah Sallal Laahu ‘Alayhi Wasallam and this is mentioned in the first ruku of Surah Al Mo’minoon.
We have seen all of this and also learn that the Angels are continuously making Du’a for the Ummah of the Sayyiduna Rasoolullah Sallal Laahu ‘Alayhi Wasallam. All of this has been achieved through the Barakah and the Wasila of the Sayyiduna Rasoolullah Sallal Laahu ‘Alayhi Wasallam. Yet, there are people who completely ignore and reject the idea of Wasila. We are sure that these people are certainly not included in the Du’a of these Angels.
Translator’s Note: As a matter of fact, the Salaah itself is in fact one of the greatest forms of Wasila. We all know the story of how Salah came to us. We also know that when the Sayyiduna Rasoolullah Sallal Laahu ‘Alayhi Wasallam passed by Nabi Moosa ‘Alayhis Salaam, he requested Sayyiduna Rasoolullah Sallal Laahu ‘Alayhi Wasallam to go back and reduce the number of Salaah. Therefore, by us finally getting five Salaah per day was an act of Wasila performed by Nabi Moosa ‘Alayhis Salaam! As for those who reject the very concept and idea of Wasila, we would advise them to continue making fifty Salaah a day, and in that day they would be so busy that perchance they might not have the time to disturb the true Muslims, In Sha Allah.
