Allah Almighty states in the Holy Quran:

Indeed, nothing is hidden from the sight of your Lord.

(Al-Fajr 89, Verse 14)

Tafseer:

Assuredly your Lord is ever on the watch, watching over the deeds of servants, nothing of which escapes Him, that He may then requite them for these [deeds].

(Tafseer Jalalain)

Hadeeth:

Sayyiduna ‘Umar – may Allah be pleased with him – reported: The Messenger of Allah – may Allah send peace and blessings upon him – said, “A man is not to be asked why he fought with his wife.”
