MUSJIDUL HAQ

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِي غَمَّرَ الْعِبَادَ بِلَطَائِفِهٖ وَعَمَّرَ قُلُوْبَهُمْ بِأنْوَارِ الدِّيْنِ وَوَظَائِفهِ ٖوَالصَّلَاةُ عَلٰى سَیِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّهٖ الْمُصْطَفٰى وَوَلِيِّهٖ الْمُجْتَبٰى وَعَلٰى آلِهٖ وَأصْحَابِهٖ مَفَاتِيْحِ الْهُدٰى وَمَصَابِيْحِ الدُّجٰى وَسَلَّمَ تَسْلِيْماً

All praise due to Allah who has enveloped His servants in His Mercy and illuminated their hearts with the light of Islam and its conduct.  May there be abundance of peace and blessings upon His Prophet, our Master Muhammad al-Mustafa, His chosen friend, and upon his Ahlebayt and companions who are the keys of guidance and lamps in darkness.

اَشْھَدُ اَنْ لَّاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّااللّٰہُ وَحْدَہٗ لَا شَرِیْکَ لَہٗ وَاَشْھَدُ اَنَّ سَیِّدَنَا مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُہٗ وَرَسُوْلُہٗ بِالْھُدٰی وَدِیْنِ الْحَقِّ اَرْسَلَہٗ

I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship besides Allah the only one who has no partner, and I testify that our master Mohammad is his slave and messenger whom he has sent with the true religion and guidance.

یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اَطِیۡعُوا اللہَ وَاَطِیۡعُوا الرَّسُوۡلَ وَ اُولِی الۡاَمْرِ مِنۡکُمْ ۚ

‘O believers! obey Allah and obey the messenger, and those who have power of command amongst you.

(Al-Nisa 4, Verse 59)

یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللہَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِہٖ وَلَا تَمُوۡتُنَّ اِلَّا وَاَنۡتُمۡ مُّسْلِمُوۡنَ﴿۱۰۲﴾

‘O believers! Fear Allah as rightly He is to be feared, and do not die ever save as Muslims.

(Aale Imran 3, Verse 102)

قَالَ اللّٰہُ تَعَالٰی فِیْ الْقُرْاٰنِ الْمَجِیْدِ:

اِنَّ الصَّلٰوۃَ کَانَتْ عَلَی الْمُؤْمِنِیۡنَ کِتٰبًا مَّوْقُوۡتًا ﴿۱۰۳﴾

Allah Almighty states in the Holy Quran:

Undoubtedly, the prayer is a fixed time obligation on Muslims.

 (Al-Taubah 9, Verse 108)

قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللَّهِ  صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ  ‏‏

مَثَلُ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ كَمَثَلِ نَهَرٍ جَارٍ غَمْرٍ عَلَى بَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ خَمْسَ مَرَّاتٍ ‏‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ وَمَا يُبْقِي ذَلِكَ مِنَ الدَّرَنِ

The Holy Prophet – may Allah send peace and blessings upon him – has stated:

The example of five prayers is like an flowing river passing by the gate of one of you in which he washes five times daily. Al-Hasan said: No filthiness can remain on him.

(Sahih Muslim, Ihya)

اِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ عَلَى قَبْرَيْنِ فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُمَا لَيُعَذَّبَانِ وَمَا يُعَذَّبَانِ فِي كَبِيرٍ أَمَّا أحد هما فَكَانَ يَمْشِي بِالنَّمِيمَةِ وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ فَكَانَ لَا يَسْتَتِرُ مِنْ بَوْلِهِ.

The Holy Prophet – may Allah send peace and blessings upon him – passed by two graves and said:  Indeed these two are being tormented and it is not due to something major but one of them used to carry tales and the other never used to guard himself against the splashes of his urine.

قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللَّهِ  صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:

خَمْسُ صَلَوَاتٍ كَتَبَهُنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَى الْعِبَادِ فَمَنْ جَاءَ بِهِنَّ لَمْ يُضَيِّعْ مِنْهُنَّ شَيْئًا اسْتِخْفَافًا بِحَقِّهِنَّ كَانَ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَهْدٌ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَأْتِ بِهِنَّ فَلَيْسَ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَهْدٌ إِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَدْخَلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ

The Holy Prophet – may Allah send peace and blessings upon him – has stated: 

There are five Salahs which Allah has prescribed on His servants. If anyone offers them, without losing any and without treating them lightly, Allah guarantees that He will enter him in Paradise. If anyone does not offer them, Allah does not take any responsibility for such a person. He may either punish him or admit him to Paradise.

قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰہِ صَلَّی اللّٰہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ:

مَنْ حَافَظَ عَلَی الْخَمْسِ بِاَکْمَلِ طُھُوْرِھَا وَمَوَاقِیْتِھَا کَانَتْ لَہٗ نُوْرًا وَبُرْھَانًا یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَۃِ وَمَنْ ضَیَّعَھَا حُشِرَ مَعَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَ ھَامَانَ

The Holy Prophet – may Allah send peace and blessings upon him – has stated:

One who safeguards over the five times Salah timely with complete purity, there will be a light and proof for him on the Day of Judgment, and whoever neglects it will be judged along with Pharaoh and Haman.

(Ihya Vol. 1)

قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰہِ صَلَّی اللّٰہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ:

اَلصَّلَاۃُ عِمَادُ الدِّیْنِ فَمَنْ تَرَکَھَا فَقَدْ ھَدَمَ الدِّیْنَ

The Holy Prophet – may Allah send peace and blessings upon him – has stated:

Salah is the pillar of Islam, whoever abandons it demolishes the Deen.

(Tafseer Al-Durr al-Manthoor, Ihya Vol. 1)

قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰہِ صَلَّی اللّٰہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ:

مِفْتَاحُ الْجَنَّۃِالصَّلَاۃُ

The Holy Prophet – may Allah send peace and blessings upon him – has stated:

Salah is the key to Paradise.

(Musnad Ahmed, Ihya Vol. 1)

اَللّٰھُمَّ نَوِّرْ قُلُوْبِنَا بِعِبَادَتِکَ آنَاءَ اللَّیْلِ وَ آنَاءَ النَّھَارِ

O Allah, brighten our hearts with your worship day and night.

اَللّٰھُمَّ ارْزُقْنَا الْخَاتِمَۃَ عَلَی الْاِیْمَانِ

O Allah, make our end upon Iman.

اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰہِ لِیْ وَلَکُمْ، وَلِسَآئِرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ،  اِنَّہٗ ھُوْ الْغَفُوْرٌ  الرَّحِیْمُ

I seek Allah’s forgiveness for me, for you and for all the Muslim males and females.  Verily, He is All-forgiving, the Merciful.
