It is reported that one day, Hadrat Sayyiduna Junaid Al Baghdadi – may Allah be pleased with him – visited Hadrat Sayyiduna Sirri Saqti – may Allah be pleased with him – and noticed that he was weeping. When he asked him the reason for him weeping, Hadrat Sayyiduna Sirri Saqti – may Allah be pleased with him – explained, “Last night was extremely hot and my small daughter appeared with a container of water and said to me that she is leaving the container of water in the open so that it can become cool. When she left, I dozed off. In my dream, I noticed a very beautiful female appear whose beauty I have never seen before. I asked her who she had been created for and she replied, ‘I have been created for that person who does not drink water which has been cooled in the open.’ When I awoke, I broke this mud container and the pieces of this are still on the floor and no one has had the courage to pick the pieces.”
