Hadrat Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik – may Allah be pleased with him – narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah – may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him – has stated that, “Three qualities which if they are found in a person, he will taste the sweetness of Imaan. The first is that he loves Allah and His Prophet – may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him – more than anything else. Secondly, if he loves someone, he loves him for the sake of Allah. Thirdly, after bringing Imaan on Islam, he dislikes going back to Kufr as much as he dislikes being thrown into fire.” (Sahih Muslim Shareef, no. 165, pg. 687)

 

Hadrat Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah – may Allah be pleased with him – narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah – may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him – him has stated that, “On the Day of Judgement, Allah Almighty will Declare, ‘Where are those slaves of Mine who used to love each other for My sake. Today, I will honour them with My Divine Shadow of Mercy. Today is that day on which there is no shadow except (My Divine Shadow of Mercy). (Sahih Muslim Shareef, no. 2566, pg. 1127).

 

Hadrat Sayyiduna Ma’az – may Allah be pleased with him – narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah – may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him – has stated that, “The Allah Almighty had Declared that, ‘For those who love each other for My sake, (on the Day of Judgement) they will be on Mimbars of Nur which even the Prophets and martyrs will be surprised at.’” (Jamia Tirmidhi, no. 239, pg. 1892)
