It is reported that once, Hadrat Sayyiduna Imam Hasan, Hadrat Sayyiduna Imam Husain, Hadrat Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Jafer – may Allah be pleased with them – and a person from the Ansaar were once travelling from Mecca Shareef to Madina Shareef. Suddenly, there was a heavy downpour and they decided to seek shelter somewhere. They saw the tent of a Bedouin and decided to ask him for shelter. When the rain had cleared, the old Bedouin who had a goat decided to slaughter this goat and take care of his guests. He also had no idea who these blessed Individu’als were. They remained with the Bedouin for three days  and when they decided to leave, Hadrat Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Jafer – may Allah be pleased with him – mentioned to the Bedouin, “When you come to Madina Shareef, please give us the opportunity of also hosting you.”

After a few years, these people experienced immense poverty and the old wife of the Bedouin mentioned to her husband, “If you can travel to Madina Shareef and meet these young people who stayed with us, perchance they might be able to help and assist.”

The old Bedouin replied that he could not remember who they were but the old lady replied that one of them was the son of Jafer Tayyar – may Allah be pleased with him.

When the old Bedouin arrived in Madina Shareef, he went and met Hadrat Sayyiduna Imam Hasan – may Allah be pleased with him. The great Imam then gave this poor one hundred camels as a gift.

He then went to visit Hadrat Sayyiduna Imam Husain – may Allah be pleased with him – who gave him one hundred goats as a gift.

The old person then went to visit Hadrat Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Jafer – may Allah be pleased with him – who said to him, “Both of my brothers have given you camels and goats. Please accept this one thousand dirhams from me.”

The old person then went to visit the Ansaari who said to him, ”I do not have camels, goats or money like my companions. However, if you can bring your camels to me, I will load them with fruits.”

Such was the immense favour on this Bedouin that this wealth lasted in his family for many generations.
