It is mentioned that Sheikh ‘Isa Hitaan Radi Allahu ‘Anhu once met a prostitute and told her that he would be visiting her that evening. When she heard this she became extremely pleased and prepared herself for his visit.

Sheikh ‘Isa Hitaan Radi Allahu ‘Anhu then arrived after Esha and read two Rak’ah of Salaah and then left. She asked him what happened and he replied, “By the Divine Grace of Allah azza wajal, my mission has been fulfilled.”

These words had such a great impact on this prostitute that she immediately repented. She continued to walk behind Sheikh ‘Isa Hitaan Radi Allahu ‘Anhu until she managed to make Taubah. The Sheikh then had her married to one of his Mureeds. He said, “Come let us make preparation for Waleema and also buy some food for this.”

His Mureeds then began to prepare for the Waleema. However, the news of this reached a very rich man in the area who was also someone that used to visit this prostitute very often. Obviously, he was not too pleased with what had happened. In a state of vindictiveness, he gave his servant two bottles of alcohol and told to him that he should give both these bottles to the Sheikh. He should also inform the Sheikh that he had become aware of what happened and as a token of appreciation he was sending these two bottles which could also be used to prepare the food. Obviously, he did not reveal to anyone what was inside these bottles.

When this servant brought these two bottles, Sheikh ‘Isa Hitaan Radi Allahu ‘Anhu thanked him and taking one bottle, he began to shake it. When Sheikh ‘Isa Hitaan Radi Allahu ‘Anhu opened it, honey appeared from this bottle. When he opened the second bottle after shaking it, ghee appeared from this bottle. Sheikh ‘Isa Hitaan Radi Allahu ‘Anhu then asked the servant to also join them in the feast.

The servant was shocked at the amazing taste of this food.

He then returned to his master and informed him about everything. A few minutes later, this person also arrived so that he could see for himself. When he consumed this food, he was also stunned. He then apologized to Sheikh ‘Isa Hitaan Radi Allahu ‘Anhu and made Taubah at his hands.

In other words, his entire intention was to embarrass a servant of Allah azza wajal, however, Allah azza wajal always protects his special servants.
