Hadrat Sayyiduna Aanis – may Allah be pleased with him – states that, “Once, Sayyiduna Rasoolullah – may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him – appeared and suddenly, it looked like he was falling asleep. He then smiled and raised his head. We asked him the reason for his smiling and he replied, ‘Just now, Surah Kauther was revealed to me’, and he then recited Surah Kauther.

 

He then stated, “Are you aware what Kauther is?’ We replied that that Allah and His Prophet know better.

 

He explained, ‘It is a Fountain which my Lord has promised to me. It is like a spring where my Ummah will come to on the Day of Judgement and the amount of drinking cups is equal to the stars.’” (Sahih Muslim Shareef)
