It is mentioned that Hafizul Hadith, Imam Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Humaidi – may Allah be pleased with him, who was also the teacher of eminent scholars such as Hadrat Abu Bakr Khateeb – may Allah be pleased with him – who was well known for his immense piety and nobleness. Before he could pass away, he gave instruction to Ameer Muzaffar bin Raeesur Ru’asa that he be buried next to Hadrat Sayyiduna Bishar Hafi – may Allah be pleased with him.

 

However, this person was buried in another cemetery named Baabun Nahr. He appeared in the dream of this person and scolded him for this action and two years later, his blessed body was exhumed and placed next to the grave of Hadrat Sayyiduna Bishar Hafi – may Allah be pleased with him. The miracle of this Saint is that two years later, his Kafan and his body was still fresh like the day he was buried. He passed away in 219 A.H. (Tadkiratul Huffaaz, 4/19)

 

In the same manner, it is reported by Hadrat Sayyiduna Abul Hasan bin Zaghuni – may Allah be pleased with him – that a grave next to the blessed of grave of Hadrat Sayyiduna Imam Ahmed bin Hambal – may Allah be pleased with him – was dug up two hundred and thirty years after he passed away. The people found that his body was still the same and even his Kafan had not deteriorated. As a matter of fact, they had dug next to the great Imam to bury someone named Abu Jafer bin Abu Moosa and by mistake, a portion of the blessed grave became visible to others.
