Hadrat Abu Bakr Sayd-laani narrates that he heard Saleem bin Mansur bin Ammar – may Allah be pleased with him – mention, “I saw my father Mansur – may Allah be pleased with him – in a dream and asked him how he had been treated by Allah Almighty. He explained, ‘The Allah Almighty called me in His Divine Court and then said to me, ‘O old person! Are you aware of why I had pardoned you?’ I replied that I did not know. He then declared, ‘One day, you were lecturing in a certain gathering and the people were also weeping hearing your words. There was also a servant in this gathering who had never wept in fear of Me, however, when he heard your lecture, he also began to weep. Because of this, I had pardoned you, him and everyone who had been present in this gathering.’”
