Muhaddith ibn Abid Dunya – may Allah be pleased with him – in the Kitaabur Riqqah mentions that when people were about to place Dawaarid Ajali into his grave, they found fresh flowers all over his grave. Some of the people also picked up a few of these flowers and it stayed fresh like this for nearly seventy days. When this news spread around the city, people came from all directions to see these flowers. However, when the Governor of the city saw the large numbers of people, he decided to confiscate these flowers and have them locked in the government vault. However, as these flowers reached the government house, it suddenly disappeared and no one could understand where it had disappeared to. (Sharahus Sudur, 82)
