It is mentioned that once Hadrat Ayesha – may Allah be pleased with her – purchased a female slave. However, Jibra’eel Ameen appeared to the Holy Prophet – may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him – and informed him that he should not allow this female slave to live in his blessed house because this female was a person of Hell.

 

Sayyidah Ayesha – may Allah be pleased with her – then had this female slave removed. However, before she could leave, she also handed this female slave some ripe dates. As this female slave walked on the road, she consumed half of these dates. She also saw a poor person approaching her. She then handed this person the balance of the ripe dates. A few moments later, Jibra’eel Ameen again appeared in front of the Holy Prophet Prophet – may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him – and informed him, “O Prophet of Allah Prophet – may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him – please recall this female slave because through this act of charity, she has been included among the people of Jannah.”
