It is mentioned that Nabi ‘Isa – peace be upon him – used to reveal to the children what their parents were eating while they were away, and when these children returned home they used to ask their parents for the same food which they had been told about.

 

When their parents came to know about this, they asked their children about how they had come to know about what they used to eat while they were away, the children mentioned that they had been informed by Nabi ‘Isa – peace be upon him – about this. When people then refrained their children from ever sitting in the blessed company of Nabi ‘Isa – peace be upon him. Such was the quality of these people that instead of them encouraging their children to be in the blessed company of a Prophet, they were so evil that they refrained their children from sitting in his blessed company.

 

They took their children and had all of them locked in a large room. One day, Nabi Isa – peace be upon him – asked someone where these children had disappeared to and he refused to explain. Nabi Isa – peace be upon him – then asked him whether these children were in a certain large room and this person replied, “No, in fact, in that room there are only pigs and monkeys.” When Nabi Isa – peace be upon him – heard this sarcastic reply, he declared, “This is how they are In Sha Allah.” Later, when these people opened the door, they found that it was fill with pigs and monkeys.
