/ When Surah Al-A’la (No. 87) was revealed the Holy Prophet – may Allah send peace and blessings upon him – stated that this entire Surah was also revealed in the books of Hazrat Ibraheem and Hazrat Moosa – peace be upon them.

/ Hazrat Imam Haakim has reported from Hazrat Umamah – may Allah be pleased with them – that Allah Almighty had revealed the following verses upon Hazrat Ibraheem – peace be upon him – from amongst the verses contained in the book which was revealed upon the Holy Prophet – may Allah send peace and blessings upon him:

a) Al-Taubah 9, Verse 112

b) Al-Mu’minoon 23, Verse 1-11

c) Al-Ahzaab 33, Verse 35

d) Al-Ma’aarij 70, Verse 23-33

Allah Almighty did not reveal these portions completely to any other Prophet besides the Holy Prophet – may Allah send peace and blessings upon him – and Hazrat Ibraheem – peace be upon him.

/ The ten verses of Surah Al-An’aam, (No. 6) Verse 151-160, were the first verses to be revealed in Torah Shareef and it ended with the last portion of Surah Hood, and according to another narration, the Torah was concluded with the verse 111 of Surah Bani Israel (No. 17).”

Ibn Abi Haatim has also narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbaas – may Allah be pleased with them – that he stated in the Tafseer of Allah’s speech, Yusuf 12, Verse 24, that Hazrat Yusuf – peace be upon him – had seen that verse (Bani Israel 17, Verse 32) of the Holy Quran which held him back from getting involved in the evil deed and that verse was manifested for him on the surface of the wall.
