ہَلْ فِیْ ذٰلِکَ قَسَمٌ لِّذِیۡ حِجْرٍ ؕ﴿۵﴾

Why is there an oath in this, for the intelligent?

{هَلْ فِي ذَلِكَ} الْقَسَم {قَسَم لِذِي حِجْر} عَقْل أَيْ لَتُعَذَّبُنَّ يَا كفار مكة

Is there in that an oath for one of sense?, [one of] intellect, that is to say, ‘you will assuredly be chastised O disbelievers of Mekkah!’.
