Is not Allah the Greatest Judge upon all judges?

Tafsir al-Tabari

Is not Allah, O Muhammad, the Greatest Judge upon all judges, to issue His Verdict and to Judge for His servants?  And whenever the Holy Prophet – may Allah send peace and blessings upon him – used to read which he passed on to us (this verse), he said, “Yes, of course (You are, O Allah)!”

Tafsir Al-Tabari (Tafsir Ibn Jareer / Jame’ al-Bayaan fi Taweel al-Quraan) of Imam Abu Ja’far Muhammad ibn Jareer al-Tabri t D. 310 A.H.

Tafsir al-Jalalain

Is not Allah the Greatest Judge upon all judges?, the most just of all judges. His passing judgement by means of requital is one such example.

In a Hadeeth it is stated, “Whoever recites Surah Al-Teen to the end of it, then he should say, “Yes Indeed! And I am of those who bear witness to this!”

Tafsir al-Jalalain of Imam Jalaaluddin Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Mahalli al-Shafe’i t D. 864 A.H. and Imam Jalaaluddin Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr al-Suyooti al-Shafe’i t D. 911 A.H.
