إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ

  On that day their Lord surely knows all about them!

Tafsir al-Qurtubi                                                                                                                                                                                      تفسیر القرطبی                                                    

أَيْ عَالِمٌ لَا يَخْفَى عَلَيْهِ مِنْهُمْ خَافِيَةٌ. وَهُوَ عَالِمٌ بِهِمْ فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ وَفِي غَيْرِهِ، وَلَكِنَّ الْمَعْنَى أَنَّهُ يُجَازِيهِمْ فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ.

i.e. He is All-Knowing – absolutely nothing is hidden from Him and He is the Knower of them on that day as well as other days but the objective here is that He will repay them on that day.
