وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ

  And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme.

Tafsir al-Qurtubi                                                                                                                                                                                      تفسیر القرطبی                                                    

(وَإِنَّهُ) أَيِ الْإِنْسَانَ۔۔۔  (لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ) أَيِ الْمَالِ ۔۔۔(لَشَدِيدٌ) أَيْ لَقَوِيٌّ فِي حُبِّهِ لِلْمَالِ.

And indeed he i.e. the human, loves al-khayr i.e. the wealth, to the extreme i.e. he is extreme in his desire for wealth.
