Sayyiduna Hasan and Muqatil – may Allah be pleased with them – said: It is one warning after the other i.e. soon you will realize the consequence of your hoarding of wealth and boasting over it when the death approaches you.

Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Abbas – may Allah be pleased with him – said:  certainly, you will soon realize i.e. the punishment that will befall you in the grave and then again certainly, you will soon realize i.e. the punishment that will befall you in the hereafter.  The first one is regarding the punishment in the grave and the second is regarding the hereafter, and the repetition to signify both the conditions.
