May there be blessings upon his first Sajdah from the very first day
Millions of peace be upon his concerns for the Ummah
Sajdah at the time of birth:
His mother Hazrat Amina – may Allah be pleased with her – states that he went into Sajdah as soon as he was born and lifted his Kalimah finger whilst reciting the praises of Allah Almighty.
(Al-Anwaar al-Muhammadiyyah p. 33)
According to other narrations, he made Dua for the Ummah during his Sajdah.
Oh Allah, my Ummah…
Hazrat Abdullah ibn Umar – may Allah be pleased with him – narrates that once, the Holy Prophet – may Allah send peace and blessings upon him – mentioned the verses in which Hazrat Ibrahim and ‘Isa – peace be upon them – had made Du’a to Allah Almighty:
The Du’a of Harzat Ibrahim – peace be upon him:
Then who sided with me is mine and who disobeyed me, then you are certainly Forgiving, Merciful.
The Du’a of Hazrat ‘Isa – peace be upon him:
If You punish them, they are Your bondmen, and if You forgive them, then undoubtedly, You are only the Dominant, the Wise.
And then he – peace be upon him – lifted his hands and said, “Oh Allah, my Ummah, my Ummah…” and cried.
Allah Almighty said to Hazrat Jibreel – peace be upon him:
“Go to my beloved and ask him as to why he is crying.”
When Hazrat Jibreel – peace be upon him – came to him and asked, he replied:
“I am worried about my Ummah.”
Allah Almighty then said to Hazrat Jibreel – peace be upon him:
“O Jibreel (peace be upon him), go and say to Muhammad (may Allah send peace and blessings upon him) that We shall definitely please you about your Ummah and will not offend you.”
